Rayscape awarded by the Romanian Society of Radiology

In the first week of October our team had the honour of participating at the National Radiology and Medical Imaging Congress, with this year’s edition being organised in Sovata, Mures. The event is the emblematic for its kind and brings together a large number of well-known radiologists from both the country and outside of it.

The 3 days of congress have kept us busy, featuring a combination of multiple keynotes, interesting lectures, radiology company booths and practical sessions. Our team has been actively involved in the Congress agenda, having the change to present Rayscape in the front of world class specialists.

On the 4th and 5th of October we have hosted an interactive presentation of our product, containing a fireside chat, a Q&A session and a live demo of the application, where participating doctors have had the possibility to compare the algorithms’ performance to their own. We have been thrilled to see the interest and openness of the medical specialists with regards to our solution.

The event ended with dr. Marius Mihail Bența, our team’s coordinating radiologist, being offered the “Gheorghe and Claudia Mateescu Award” by the Romanian Chapter of ISMRM, for his work with Rayscape. We feel that the prize is a recognition of our work by reputable scientists and it encourages our team to go forward in its journey to deploy Rayscape in private and public clinics throughout the country.
