Rayscape is proud to announce the appointment of Prof. Gabriel Paul Krestin as an Independent Board Member. With more than four decades of experience spanning radiology, medical imaging, academic leadership, and healthcare innovation, Prof. Krestin brings a unique perspective to Rayscape as the company continues to expand its AI-powered solutions across the radiology workflow.
Prof. Krestin is Professor Emeritus of Radiology at Erasmus MC, where he served as Professor and Chairman of the Department of Radiology & Nuclear Medicine for 25 years. He is a former President of the European Society of Radiology (ESR) and a member of the US National Academy of Medicine. Beyond his academic and clinical leadership, he has played an important role in the development of medical imaging technology, including as the founder of Quantib, and has continued to contribute to the healthcare technology ecosystem through board and advisory roles.
His extensive experience at the intersection of radiology, artificial intelligence, clinical innovation, and healthcare transformation closely aligns with Rayscape’s mission to empower radiologists with intelligent, clinically relevant AI. We are delighted to welcome Prof. Krestin to our Board and look forward to drawing on his expertise as we continue to develop our technology, expand internationally, and shape the next generation of AI solutions for radiology.

“Having Prof. Gabriel Paul Krestin join the Rayscape Board is a major milestone for us. His track record in radiology, medical imaging AI, and healthcare innovation is exceptional, but what makes his contribution particularly valuable is his ability to connect clinical reality with technological ambition.
We are building Rayscape to become a meaningful force in the transformation of radiology, and having someone of Prof. Krestin’s calibre alongside us gives us an even stronger foundation to pursue that ambition. His experience, vision and understanding of where medical imaging is heading will be invaluable as we scale our technology, expand internationally, and continue to raise the bar for what AI can deliver in clinical practice.”
